Cheryl’s project management skills were outstanding, and Don is truly the “wizard” on Excel!  Emily provided much logistical support with meeting scheduling and website management. Special thanks to Robert Perry who served on multiple regional committees and was gracious in providing his horticultural wisdom to spearhead the WUCOLS V manual. Lastly, thanks to Bart O’Brien, Director of the Regional Parks Botanic Garden, and Ellen Zagory (UC Davis Arboretum and Public Gardens, retired) who provided their horticultural wisdom in selecting commercially available very low and low water use California native plants for the review process; to Jim Borneman, (Ewing Irrigation, retired) who provided Region 5 and Region 6 low and low water use plants for review; and, to Kelly Griffin, Horticulturist, who provided water use ratings for Agave and Aloe taxa for Region 3.
