Welcome to the California Center for Urban Horticulture (CCUH). Our mission is to help California develop more enjoyable and sustainable gardens, landscapes and public parks with timely horticultural information. We are located at the University of California, Davis, and draw upon the knowledge and expertise of our partners in academia, industry and the public. Urban horticulture has a significant role in water, energy and resource conservation, reducing pesticide use, native plant propagation, wildlife preservation, and controlling invasive species. Our public programs, demonstration gardens, and research provide Californians with horticultural information needed for creating and maintaining environmentally sound landscapes.
