Gardening Tips - Attracting Bees
Häagen-Dazs Honey Bee Haven
CCUH coordinated the design and installation of the Honey Bee Haven demonstration garden and Campus Buzzway walkway. The half-acre garden and the adjacent wildflower meadow on the UC Davis campus:
- Provides bees with a year-round food source
- Raises public awareness about the disappearing honey bees
- Encourages visitors to plant bee-friendly gardens of their own
- Search for honey-bee supporting plants and a complete free planting guide for your area here. See the list of plants used in the Honey Bee Haven here.
