Your Sustainable Backyard: Roses

This is our fifth annual rose event! We'll learn about these classic garden superstars and see some magnificent blooms while touring UC Davis rose gardens. Join us after the program for a rose sale!

We'll be celebrating Cinco de Mayo this year at our FIFTH annual Rose Day!  Please join us as we welcome rose breeding experts Dr James Sproul and Jacques Ferare for a morning of informative presentations.  Tours include a Romance & Legend rose tour in the UC Davis Arboretum (offered in English & Spanish) as well as Foundation Plant Services' beautiful 8-acre rose field and their All-American Rose Selection test garden.  We'll also host a plant sale from 2:30-5:30, open to the public!

Come ready to see some amazing flowers!  Workshop attendees will take home a free Cinco de Mayo rose.
