Bee Garden Hosts Preview of Plantings

On October 16, 2009, a preview opening of Honey Bee Haven was held at the Harry J. Laidlaw Honey Bee Research Facility on the UC Davis campus. University faculty and cooperators from California Center for Urban Horticulture, Häagen-Dazs, the winning design team, and the landscape installation company Cagwin & Dorward were invited to view the newly installed and planted site.
A public Grand Opening is scheduled for June 19, 2010, after the site's plantings have had time to grow and bloom.
