Bringing California native plants and other heat- and drought-tolerant species from the UC Davis Arboretum's collection to California nurseries and home gardeners.

Promoting the use of hardy, water-conserving turf grass for lawns and landscapes.

• Light Brown Apple Moth Best Management Practices

Developing standards and manuals for growers to prevent the introduction or establishment of P. ramorum in California nurseries. 

• Phytophthora ramorum Best Management Practices

Developing standards and manuals for the nursery and shipping industry to prevent the infestation and spread of Light Brown Apple Moth. 

• Quality Tree Initiative

Developing nursery standards to improve the quality of urban street trees.

• University of California Nursery and Floriculture Alliance (UCNFA)

Formerly known as California Ornamental Research Federation (CORF), UCNFA is the University of California's educational outreach and support program to the floriculture and production nursery industry.  Dave Fujino, executive director of CCUH, serves as co-director of UCNFA.
