Friday, May 30 - Saturday, May 31

Climate Change is the hot topic of today.  Every newspaper and any newscast can be used as an example of the importance of this critical issue.  How will our communities and our nation respond to climate change?

The trees and plants that we surround ourselves with are a big part of the solution to climate change.  Not only do plants create habitat for wildlife, they reduce air temperature and trap carbon.  Our landscapes have a big impact on our green footprint!

Ira Flatow from NPR's Science Friday and Katy Moss Warner from the American Horticultural Society will be at UC Davis on Friday May 30 and Saturday May 31 for the Global Climate Change and Your Backyard conference.  Please join national and state leaders at this meeting to share ideas and discuss the challenges of today.

Your conference registration covers attendance to both days of educational presentations, parking on campus, breakfast and lunch.
