Honey Bee Haven

Honey Bee Haven
The CCUH coordinated the design contest sponsored by Häagen-Dazs for a bee-friendly garden that will be used for educational outreach on the UC Davis campus next to the Harry H. Laidlaw Jr. Honey Bee Research Facility. The winning team created a design of interconnected gardens with bee-themed names like Honeycomb Hideout, Nectar Nook, and Pollinator Patch.
CCUH is also coordinated and supervised the Honey Bee Haven installation. The garden was installed in 2009 and officially opened to the public in September 2010.
